Middle School

Art

One of Finney’s strengths is its award winning visual arts program.  Finney middle and high school students have won 5 national awards and 120+ regional awards from the prestigious Scholastic Art Awards, in competition with most public and private schools.  Middle School students learn foundational skills, art history as well as learn about art’s role and function in the world around us.

Drama

Middle School students put on their own annual musical theatrical production, such as “Seussical”.

Music

In addition to their general music classes, middle school students have the opportunity to take band lessons.  The Music Department puts on two major concerts annually.  Students have the opportunity to perform vocally with their music class well as in the Middle School Band

Spiritual Development

Biblical instruction is integrated through the curriculum in all levelsand students participate in weekly chapel services.
