My assignment from the Lord is to raise up the next generation of worshipers. My goal is to teach with joy and excellence so every child is equipped with musical concepts and skills, plus the desire and ability to express their Spiritual Gifts through the language of music.

I attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska, receiving a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught for the Lincoln Public School in Lincoln, NE, and owed a piano studio and large Kindermusik business for many years. My husband and I relocated to Rochester, NY in 2004 to be near family. In addition to teaching Kindergarten - 2nd grade music at Finney, I am director of Kindermusik with Sounds of Joy for the Amanda Rose Belmont School of the Arts (KMSoundsofjoy.org), teaching private piano and theory lessons, and taking classes through WlI-Rochester in Applied Practical Ministry.
